Goal 3
-
Students will be able to adequately explain both sides of the modern-day refugee crisis (i.e. explain the side that is against accepting refugees into the U.S. and the side is is for accepting refugees).
-
Students will achieve this goal by comparing and contrasting one character’s story from refugee to the evidences/information that they have discovered from various supplemental sources (e.g. news articles/stories).
-
Students will pick the stance that they believe is the best stance and use the evidence found from both sides to support their answer in a conclusion.
